- Tin Star
- Photographs with images small enough to fit on the surface of your star
- Patterned Scrapbook Paper
- Decoupage (such as Modge Podge
Tools:
- Paper Trimmer
- Ruler
- Pencil
- Scissors
Optional: Additional embellishments such as gems, ribbon, buttons, etc.

Instructions:
- Trace the templates on to the backside of your patterned paper and photos. Think about how your photos will look and what direction they should be placed. Some should be vertical and some in a horizontal direction.**See templates on the following pages and arrange in the order as shown above.**
Hint: it may help to take a piece of cardstock or cardboard to make a template to use when cutting your paper and photos.
- Cut your paper and photos to fit the sides of your star.
- Decoupage your photos and paper to your tin star.
- Decoupage Instructions: use the decoupage as a glue to secure your paper and photos to the tin star and as a sealer over the top of everything. If your paper starts to bubble just keep smoothing it down with your fingers or foam brush. Note: The decoupage does dry clear but the finish will depend on whether you choose matte or glossy decoupage.
Design Idea: when dry add additional embellishments such as gems, ribbon, buttons, etc.
