Where do you scrapbook? Do you have your own space? Do you use the kitchen table or have a closet reserved just for you?

Share photos and descriptions of your space and tell us how you organize your supplies! We would love to learn what works for you!

When we rented our home we planned on the extra room in the house for a nursery. In our last home, I had my supplies in an IKEA wardrobe. Well, in the move, the wardrobe never made it. It was damaged before making it out the front door. So, we put all my boxes and supplies in the spare room until we decided what to do.

Well, it has been almost a year since we have been in this house and no news of a little one on the way.

So, I have been content in using the space, for now, as my studio.

The book shelf holds my Big Shot and finished mini books.

The rocker actually is comfortable. I also use this room to store my photo props. So, I have an IKEA wine rack holding vintage umbrellas and my grandmother's tablecloths. The little shelf on the wall above the book shelf holds buckets with chalk board labels on them. They are actually empty. I store my supplies in the closet. The room is very clean this way.

Here is the table I scrap on. It actually was free. It was going to get thrown out but I asked to have it. It looked terrible so I covered the table top with fabric. (Note to self, next time you do this get outdoor fabric next time so you can wipe it down). To clean it I have to use a lint roller, lol...

When I am not using it, it folds in half and wheels to the wall. Then the whole room is open. When it is in use, I can leave my project out and close the door to my space without a worry.

Now... to tackle that closet. [Shudder] It is frightening.

I love the post here on the blog about the Protect n Store boxes CW carries! I just had to get more organized in my space and I used these to do it! Can't wait to share photos!

My "space" is a counterheight cabinet my husband built for me on a wall in our living room. Our house has a very open floor plan, so because I don't have an extra room, "defining" a space is difficult. But I love to be with the family, I did have a cabin I scrapped in but I didn't like the isolation.

I do have a few sterilite drawers for scraps and punches in our homeschool room, but this is 90% of my stuff. - and sorry - you got no special cleaning LOL

Nice spaces ladies! I know how it is when you are impatiently waiting for baby #2 (we waited 2-1/2 years--Longer if you count the 9 months and times when were weren't trying), but a scrapbook room is definitely a nice alternative. I'll see if I can snap some photos of my new space this afternoon--It will be empty and is sort of half finished, but I'm estatic all the same. I definitely won't be sad to leave my scrapbook space of 10+ years behind--my dining room table!

So here are the pictures of my new scrapbook room. It's still under construction so the sink hasn't been officially installed, there is a damaged drawer front that they are working on replacing and I still don't have my 4'x4' island on wheels...

I feel like a proud mama showing off her new baby... Bare with me.

I was feeling too lazy to upload to photobucket tonight so here is the second photo showing the other side of the room (standing at the corner desk in the top photo).

I'll be in the basement all by my lonesome which may be really nice on some days and not so much on others. I think I need to buy me a nice new small flat screen tv for down there to keep me company. Can't wait to unpack all my Craft Warehouse purchases into there! Thanks for giving me a chance to share my new "baby".

Thanks! I might actually have that much stuff (Over the years I've hoarded a whole cabinet's worth of dies/alphabets and another cabinet's worth of rubber/clear stamps and inks, but I can't wait to see how much is filled and how much is leftover... . I've been joking with a girlfriend that I can leave her an empty cabinet for her stuff so she can pick up where she left off when she visits. The second seated area will have a place to keep my sewing machine out (which I've never been able to do and am estatic about).

Most of those shelves in the two closets were actually designed to hold my ebay inventory, but I'm starting to get burned out and I'm not sure all that hardwork is worth putting us into a higher tax bracket just so the government can take it all (which is exactly what happened this past year). If I'm able to put all those shelves to work for scrapbooking someday, my storage just got a whole lot bigger.

I would love to have you and who-ever wants to come over sometime. I'm not actually too far away and we're building a great guest bedroom so we can have our own mini retreat! I just don't cook so food would have to be take-out. LOL!

Seriously jealous Mendi......I'm married to a cabinet maker and I can only dream of having a space like that! LOL (But as they say, the cobblers kids never have shoes, the mechanics car doesn't run...etc.....paying customers always come first).

Beautiful space! I'll be on my way over. LOL

Thanks Amanda! You're welcome to come down and stay awhile anytime!

Our original plan was just to create the room and add the cabinets later, but when we had them add it as an option just in case, they came in cheaper than we expected. Although I guess I should put it in perspective by saying our nicer, upgraded Kitchen cabinets cost about $800 less which means I must have more storage in there than our kitchen--Although as I mentioned I don't like cooking so that's probably appropriate, right?! I feel very blessed indeed!

Wow! This room is amazing! Do you stamp just for a hobby? Cause I would love to have room to be able to see everything! Great storage ideas! Thanks!
