I'll start.

You know your a scrapbooker when somehow a piece of ribbon is cooked into dinner.

Yep. Found a half inch of ribbon in the pasta I cooked last night. I hurried up and slipped it off my plate before anyone else noticed.

We have had fun with this string of comments before. I thought I would bring it back.

When you go to a holiday party and you are appalled by the way the "gift-game" gets out of hand and people start man-handling your gift. The fighting over it starts and you begin to watch as the ribbon flies off first, then the tag, then pieces of paper... you vow never to work that hard on the packaging again as you pick up the pieces and stuff them in your purse so you can go home and make another project out of the remains.

You know your a scrapbooker when you see a piece of litter in the parking lot when you get out of your car and you keep having to tell yourself "You don't know where that has been. You will not pick that up for your scrapbook page, you will not pick that up for your scrapbook page..." And even know I am wondering if that cute little arrow is still there and should I go get it?

So, my SmartPhone screen protector started to lift and I asked if my husband could fix it for me…

Husband: Did you notice I replaced your screen protector?
Me: Yes! Thank you!
Husband: Do you know what I found under the old screen protector that caused it to lift?
Me: Uh…no…what was it!?!
Husband: One speck of red glitter! One speck of scrapbooking glitter ruined your screen protector!

That’s when you know you are a paper crafter...

I keep having my moments as well. I guess that means we need some scrapbooking time. I used glitter next to our thawing steaks tonight. My husband didn't appreciate the new steak seasoning.

You know your a scrapbooker when... You are inspired with Starbucks. I mean seriously inspired by their cups. I just cut nine stars out of one of their corrugated cup insulators that they put around the outside of the cups using my Cuttlebug and some star shaped spellbinders. They look really cute.

I thought of you yesterday. We got coffee and then we went shopping. At the register my husband asked if they had a trash can and they said yes. He reached to grab my cup and I held tight. He said, "Aren't you done?" I couldn't get the sleeve off and he was trying to take it. "Yes, I am done, but I need this first," I said as I tried to grab the sleeve off it before he threw it away. Dude, it said, "Let's merry" on it with cute stars. Man- it is soooo going in my December Daily. lol...

Your two year old son argues with you over which ink pads we should buy at CW because he has watched so many stamping you tube videos that he knows which is which. I wanted Tim Holtz he wants to buy the chalking (chalk ink.)

Your mother brings you feathers from her bird wondering if you want any for your scrap pages... lol... ummm, no thank you. Ha!

You know your sister's a scrapbooker when your mom is surprised you don't want her bird's feathers because your sister was excited to get some for her scrap pages.

Why not? The bird is free of disease (I will clean the feathers too) the two feathers I picked out
are in a ziploc bag for when I am ready to SMASH them...
um, yes you know you are a scrapbooker when...you ask for some bird feathers.

When you look at even the simple things and think... should I smash that?

I was pulling the paper out of the packaging for our scrap club challenge. When I pulled it out there was a piece of paper that had loose glitter on it and it covered my whole space and lap. I was yelling while jumping up and down, "Get it off, get it off, get it off!"

Total complex now. I am going to need glitter therapy.
