Ok... I haven't put my SMASH book down since I got it last week. lol... I think my subconscious knew these were coming out so I have been keeping things for it for the last five years. So I layered up my inspiration pages. Here are a few pages so far. I haven't done a lot of the journaling yet, but I am going to leave that for later. Quotes that I like, layout sketches, and things like that will go on the tags.

This is gorgeous. I haven't had the opportunity to sit down with mine even though I am now carrying it with me everywhere I go.

I started my first page in my SMASH book last night... this is just a quick picture using my phone

Wow! It looks like the smash book was invented just for you so you could find a place to let out all this creative energy and memorabilia. It turned out great! These smash books sort of scare me--I'm not much of a free-flowing creative spirit, but they're such a fun idea for collecting all those special sentimental pieces that may not make it onto a scrapbook layout.

I dont have pages to share yet, but I will share my 'Smash haul'! I'm definitely going back for a couple more Smash books though!
(also got a stamp i've had my eye on , and some cool feathers)

I love that Smash is whatever you make of it. Go collage style if that's you. Go journal style if that's you. Go listing and planning if that's you. go artsy and experimental if that's you.

How many have noticed that the SMASH books are on sale right now at CW? $9.99! I can't believe it!

Plus, CW got in the little mini SMASH and it is so darling I may have to use my 40% off coupon! That would be a deal!

The Salem store got in the pink and blue pens too! I already snagged mine! Can't wait to use them!

If I remember correctly, they are about $12. The accessories are all very reasonable as well.

Love seeing all these different versions of the SMASH book in use. They are so cool and I love looking at them...just wish I had the time and free-spiritedness to do one for myself! I think I have SMASH-envy!!

The new SMASH books are in and I have my eyes on the orange one... I also want to get a pink one too since I heard more have been stocked! What about you? I wish I could stop giving the ones I buy away as gifts, lol...

I have also have more pages done in my blue one...















It feels good to add some of my own handmade embellishments and my sister's own tag designs in the book. It makes it more personal...

@Elizabeth... my book is SO fat! I need to take a picture of it so you can see. But, I am totally lovin' it. It is time, though, to start another one and leave the rest of my blue pages flat. I mean, seriously, how can I pull that puppy out at the doctor's office waiting room to write down a quick thought. lol...

Ok, I have to admit. This weekend I also got a pink (now I have three). I SMASHed all day Friday and have some more pictures to take so I can share. I also got my sister-in-law hooked this weekend while we were in CW. I showed her the video and that was enough. lol...

In the meantime, K&Company found my pages here on the forum and are sharing them on the blog today. It is cool to see who is reading our forum.

It is a Tim Holtz die. On my blog I am trying to put all the supplies I used under each photo. It takes a little while to do and space so I am doing a few pages at a time and not here on the forum.

It all looks so good. Such a great way to gather inspiration! I love the tickets on your Paris page. Is it a Tim Holtz Die? And your first book was so fat! I love it too.

Super Cute and fun smash pages!

I've started to prepare a tiny bit for my first (and maybe last) smash book documenting the 1-1/2 year ride planning and building our house--It's going to be scrappy with swatches and such and probably a little more simple than my normal style, but as I was thinking about it, I don't think I have it in me to do it in the true carefree style it was intended. We'll see... Hopefully I'll have something to share in early April after the crop weekend.
