Creating a Personal Wall Display
  • Plan your frame display before placing the first nail in the wall by either arranging the frames on the floor or using paper on the wall before hanging.

  • Ensure balance between your wall and the frame display. Smaller frames create more impact when grouped while a large frame creates more impact standing alone.

  • Design your own custom wall display by using frames of various shapes and sizes. Add interest by hanging frames both vertically and horizontally.

  • Frames should be hung at eye level, usually around five feet from the floor. If you have higher than average ceilings, place the frames higher.

  • Ensure balance by keeping your arrangement centered horizontally along the wall.

  • Experiment with a mixture of black and white and color photographs to create more interest in your display.

  • With a little work and some imagination anyone can create an interesting display.
