Glittery Holiday Paperweights Project |
|

Supplies
- Bag of jumbo glass drops
- Crystal glitter glue
- Pre-cut 1.5" cork backers
- Scrapbook papers of your choice or photos (ideally laser copies of your original photos - these won't bleed)
- 2" circle or scallop circle hole punch Ultimate Glue and 1" round magnets if you prefer to make jumbo magnets instead
- Small paint brush
- "JOY", PEACE", "Merry Christmas" vinyl
Directions
- Clean the glass drops with a tissue to remove cloudy film.
- Rub on vinyl design onto the pretty side of the glass drop (for instructions, see Vinyl Instructions tip sheet).
- Choose the part of your scrapbook paper you would like to use as the
background for your paperweight by holding the glass drop above the
paper and moving it around until you like where it is positioned beneath the vinyl design. Punch out paper with the circle punch.
- Apply glitter glue to the entire front side of the paper circle with paint brush; adhere onto back of glass drop. Get rid of unsightly air bubbles by rubbing your fingernail along the back of the paper, pulling any air bubbles out towards the edges of paperweight. Wipe off any glue that oozes out.
- Peel and stick the circle of cork to the back of the paperweight.
- Or if making magnets, use Ultimate Glue to secure magnet to back of glass drop. Enjoy!
