Shopping List

• 9x12 canvas
• Vinyl expression
• Paint and brushes
• A distressing tool (sandpaper or a wire brush will work great), select your favorite.
• Heat gun or a blow dryer

Instructions

1. Apply two coats of cream paint, let your canvas dry completely between each coat.

2. Distress canvas as desired with a wire brush or sandpaper.

3. Wipe canvas off with a damp paper towel & let dry.

4. Apply vinyl expression

5. Heat vinyl with a heat gun or blow dryer to help it adhere to canvas.

6. Paint 2-3 coats of charcoal paint on canvas (yes, over the vinyl expression).  Let the paint dry completely each time.

7. When paint is very dry, carefully remove vinyl letters (you may need to loosen by heating a little bit with the heat gun).

  You are finished!  Hang up your new piece of décor!
