STEP ONE
Using a punch or digital cutter, cut approximately, 30 - 1 1/2" squares out of 3 different patterned papers.
STEP TWO
Lay out the squares in a pattern (four rows of four diagonally) on a full sheet of 12" x12" patterned paper. When you are happy with arrangement of the squares, secure them with a little glue.
STEP THREE
Next, using a sewing machine stitch up and down each row of squares until all the squares have been stitched.
STEP FOUR
Next stitch around the edge of a Flip Note page. Then adhere it with 3D glue dots to the lower right side of the box.
STEP FIVE
Use a punchout and layer it over the Flip Note page on the box. Add some pearls to the edge of the punchout.
STEP SIX
Cut out a leaf, a large flower and a small flower from the Queen Bee and Honey Bee, patterned papers. Fold the leaf and curl the flowers to add some dimension. Layer the flowers, punch a tiny hole into the center and thread the beaded stem through. Note the beaded stem was painted to match the project. Adhere the flower and leaf to the box. |
