STEP ONE
Start by gently inking the edges of the hanger with white ink.
STEP TWO
Cut four strips of the Gazebo (blue dotted) paper sized at about 1.8" X 7.8". Adhere each strip using Mod Podge.
STEP THREE
Cut the Porch Screen shaped paper 2.25" from the left side, keeping the rounded points. Trim so that the strip is 2.25" high by about 7.75" wide.
STEP FOUR
Repeat with the right side, cutting a strip that is 2.25" x 11".
STEP FIVE
Before trimming to 7.75" from 11" take that strip and overlap it with the first so that the rounded points stand next to each other (not back-to-back), making the effect of grass. Make marks on the longer piece to be the same size as the first. Trim.
STEP SIX
Cut one more piece of green, without the rounded points, sized at 2.25" X about 7.75".
STEP SEVEN
Adhere the solid green to the bottom edge of the wall hanger. Glue the other two pieces (with rounded points) on top, lining up the bottom edges.
STEP EIGHT
To make the black house, grab your 6X6 pad. Cut a 2.25" X 2.25" square from a black piece of paper. Adhere to the hanger.
STEP NINE
Trim three flip notes by cutting off the end of one side for each house, and create your own windows and doors as you choose.
STEP TEN
To make the clouds, simply hand-draw a cloud shape on a blue sheet from the 6 X 6 pad.
STEP ELEVEN
Cut the black transparency from one of the Borderlines and place it onto the green paper.
STEP TWELVE Using your Expressions alphabet, spell out the word Keys.
STEP THIRTEEN
Add a small circle under the letter K. Grab a plum brad and flatten out the metal pieces so that the brad will lie flat. Adhere over the edge of the letter K using a glue dot.
STEP FOURTEEN
You have a bright and colorful place to hang your keys! |
