Reviews: Crop-a-Dile II Big Bite

I just saw the new Crop-a-Dial Big Bite at Craft Warehouse and HAD to pick one up for myself.  I couldn’t wait to get it home and give it a try.  All I can say is... “Oh-my GOSH... this tool is WONDERFUL”.  Not only will it cut through just about anything but because of its long reach, I’m able to punch holes and set eyelets SILENTLY anywhere on my layout…. And being able to reach those tough spots on embellishments without pulling out my hammer makes this tool “THE” must have tool my scrapbook supply.  It not only punches small and larger holes but also sets small and large eyelets and the gromelets from We R Memory Keepers.  Goodbye original Crop-a-dile, silent setter, and old hammer...I’ve found a new tool that does it ALL.

Oh my goodness!!!  I can't get over how cool the new Crop-a-Dile Big Bite is at punching holes anywhere on my 12x12 project!  I love how it sits on my tabletop so I no longer have to try and juggle a bulky tool in my hands.  Just by adjusting the setting on top and pressing the lever down, it's never been easier to create a line of holes!  And of course I still can't get over how it punches through all kinds of materials like chipboard, grungeboard, leather and acrylic sheets like butter!  I even found I was able to add a third post to my 2-post bound album.  Now that's something my original Crop-a-Dile would have never been able to reach!  We R Memory Keepers recommends using their own brand of eyelets and grommets, but I discovered this awesome little trick where you can cut 4 notches in the back of your eyelet using wire cutters for a beautiful setting using any brand you like!  You should definitely give this tool a try!  I find myself reaching for mine all the time!
