6 individual 8mm glass pearls (white)
7 individual 8mm round shimmer crystals (purple or color of choice)
26 individual 8mm bead caps (silver)
13-7mm jump rings (silver)
15-2” eye pins (silver)
2 assorted charms (silver)
2 large hammertone rings (silver)
4 individual beaded bead caps “Ansil Style” (silver)
Tools
Two chain nose pliers or one chain and one bent nose plier
Round nose pliers
Side cutters
Directions
***Turning an eye loop> After loading a head pin or eye pin you will need to bend a 90 degree angle into the pin just above the bead using your chain nose pliers. Using your side cutters trim down the head pin to 5/16 of an inch from the 90 degree bend or approximately the width of your finger). Now, with your round nose pliers bend the tip of the wire using the middle of the pliers, up over and around until it touches the 90 degree elbow and looks like a lollipop, or the factory end of an eye pin.
- Place one 7mm jump ring on each end of the 12” chains. This will become the front of the necklace.
- Attach the 4 jump rings to one of the large hammertone rings, leaving one hammertone ring on each side.
- Using one of the 2” eye pins, place on one beaded cap, one 16mm glass pearl, and one beaded bead camp. Close the top with an eye loop. Complete this step twice and attach one to each of the hammertone rings.
- On the open end of the 16mm glass pearl eye pin, link the 14” section of chain using two of the 7mm jump rings. This will become the back chain of the necklace.
- Use the remaining 8mm pearls and 8mm shimmer crystals to create an alternating strand for the middle of the necklace. Place one bead cap on a 2” eye pin followed by one of the beads, then another bead cap. Close the end of the eye pin. Attach these pearls and shimmer crystals to each other using the open eye pins.
- After completing the 13 pearl and crystal eye pin links, attach them between two hammertone rings using two of the 7mm jump rings.
- To finish the necklace, add the two charms to a jump ring and place it on one of the hammertone rings.
