1 strand of 8MM glass pearls (white) or 12 beads

1 strand of 8MM glass pearls (lavender) or 8 beads

1 strand of 6MM glass pearls (lavender) or 20 beads

1 package of eye pins (silver) or 52 pins

1 package of 2in head pins

6 inches of cable chain (silver)

4- 6MM jump rings

1 toggle clasp

Tools

Two chain nose pliers or one chain and one bent nose pliers

Round nose pliers

Side cutters

Directions

***Turning an eye loop> After loading a head pin or eye pin you will need to bend a 90 degree angle into the pin just above the bead using your chain nose pliers. Using your side cutters trim down the head pin to 5/16 of an inch from the 90 degree bend or approximately the width of your finger).  Now, with your round nose pliers bend the tip of the wire using the middle of the pliers, up over and around until it touches the 90 degree elbow and looks like a lollipop, or the factory end of an eye pin.

  • Begin by forming all of the dangles for the band.  Load one of each of the above listed quantity of pearls in each size onto a separate head pin, and turn an eye loop at the top of each one.  You should end up with 52 dangles in assorted sizes and colors.
  • Cut a 6 inch piece of chain into two pieces 3 inches long.  Connect each piece of chain to the watch face with a jump ring.
  • Drape watch face and chain over your wrist for sizing, accounting for the width of the closure (trim off excess if necessary), then connect the closure to each end of the chain with jump rings.
  • To attach each of the pearl baubles, gently open the eye loop you created to the side, hook onto a link in the chain and gently close eye loop.
  • Attach the larger pearls closer to the watch face, and work your way to the closure attaching the smaller dangles as you go.  There should be 26 pearl dangles on each side of the watch face.
