Sticks and Stones Statement Necklace
Supply list:
1 Strand of gemstone “stone sticks”
1 Pendant with bail (bail –or combination of bails, may need to be added to some pendants to help them lay right)
6 Silver plated beads roughly 8-14mm
1 Silver plated toggle clasp
Beading wire
2 Crimp Beads / tubes.
5-10 matching 6/0 seed beads

Directions:
1.) Cut one 20 inch piece of beading wire (.018 in diameter).  Secure one end of the wire to the round end of the toggle clasp.  Add two seed beads and then a silver plate bead, set aside.
2.) Divide your 16 inch strand of gemstone “stone sticks” into 6 small portions approximately 2 ½ inches in length. Recommend –folding in half, then cutting in half, and then dividing each half into three segments usually between 13-20 beads.
3.) String one segment of stone sticks (2 ½ inches long), then a silver plated bead, then another segment of stone sticks (2 ½ inches long), and then a third silver plated bead, and another segment of stone sticks.
4.) Before stringing your pendant onto the beading wire, examine which direction your pendant will hang, if necessary a bail or a jump ring may need to be added.  Then string your pendant onto the wire.
5.) Continue adding the following: 2 ½ inches of stone sticks, a silver plated bead, 2 ½ inches of stone sticks, a silver plated bead, 2 ½ inches of stone sticks and a silver plated bead.
6.) To finish off your necklace, add a crimp bead and 5 or so seed beads, then the other end of the toggle clasp-double back through the seed beads and crimp-pull until everything is snug and crimp with your crimp pliers.  Trim off excess wire.
