Hoop Earrings with Exchangeable Dangles Project |
|

Supplies
- 1 pair of hoop earring wires
- 4-6 beads of your choice for each set of dangles
- 2" head pins
- Jewelry wire cutters
- Round nose pliers
Directions
- Thread the beads on the eyepin. Cut off excess and make a loop at the top using round nose pliers. Optional: Make a loop with wire wrap below the loop. Make sure you are making a loop large enough to fit over your earrings. Make several sets of dangles for only one set of loops.
Wrapped Loop
- Make a 90 degree bend with a pair of round nose pliers, leaving a small amount of space for the wrap above the bead. Do not cut off the excess wire yet!
- Using the round nose pliers, make a loop that crosses at the bend.
- Using a pair of needle nose pliers, hold onto the loop.
- Wrap headpin with the excess wire using a second pair of needle nose pliers.
- Clip off the excess wire using a pair of wire cutters.
Note: If the wrapped loop is going to be permanently attached to something, be sure to attach it before wrapping in step 2.
