Supplies

• assorted buttons
• 20 gauge wire
• nylon jaw pliers
• wire cutter
• wooden dowel (size of ring finger)

Directions

1. Cut a piece of wire 24 inches long.
2. To wrap the wire around the dowel: Start at half way point of the wire (12 in.) Make three to four loops around the dowel with both ends of the wire. Both ends of the wire need to end a the top of the loops
3. Put a two hole button over the wire. Using pliers, pull wire tight and twist once. Make knots, swirls etc.
4. When finished, one wire will need to go over each side of the button and coil around ring wire close to the top. Coil 3-4 times around. Cut wire & tuck down inside.
5. Tip: Also slip beads onto the wire to incorporate into your design.
