Palette Stamp & Stick Glue is a heat activated adhesive solution for applying fine pigments,  glitter, gold leaf, flocking, or chalk powders to a stamped image. The pads are available in clear and black adhesive.

Glitter & Flocking

1. Stamp your image with the glue pad as you would any other stamp pad.

2. Sprinkle glitter or flocking material on the wet glue.

3. Heat set with your embossing heat tool.

Chalk or Metallic Powders

1. Stamp your image with the glue pad as you would any other stamp pad.

2. Heat the inked image with your embossing heat tool until tacky (no longer wet).

3. Use a soft brush or cotton ball to lightly rub the chalks into the glue. Use as many colors as you desire. Lynn in our Salem store recommends using a small cotton pom-pom to apply chalk.

4. Use a soft brush or cotton ball to remove any powder from the paper.

Metal Leafing

1. Stamp your image with the glue pad as you would any other stamp pad.

2. Heat the inked image with your embossing heat tool until tacky (no longer wet).

3. Press the metal leaf onto the inked surface, rubbing the metal into the glue. Continue until the entire image is covered with metal.

4. Lightly burnish the design to remove any excess metal. Mari Lyn in our Vancouver store recommends using a stamp scrub pad to do this.

Clean Up

1. Clean stamp with water and a mild dish soap. Dry thoroughly.

2. Clean stamp again, this time using the stamp cleaner recommended for the type of stamp used (stamp cleaner for wood mounted stamps,  polymer cleaner for clear stamps, etc.).
