"Stylish. Details. We knew the second we saw the ‘young sweet love’ Layout that this girl was going to make the team! Perfect example of a scrapbooker you would want to scraplift from over and over again because her artwork is so inspiring and approachable. Lashell scored very high in ‘on trend design’- her clear album had a lot to do with that."

My name is Lashell Darby and I am a 36 year old, Mother, Wife, & SCRAPBOOKER.  I live with my husband of 17 years and my 3 kids in Southern Oregon We have 3 great kids:  two girls (15 & 7), and one 10-year-old boy. I started scrapbooking in 1996 but didn't get really serious until the birth of our 3rd child. I love the creative outlet scrapbooking gives me along with a way to document the everyday moments in our lives we seem to take for granted. I am honored to have been chosen for the CWH Design Team and look forward to designing with all these talented ladies!

I don’t really know what my style is… I just see a product I like and work with it. But what I like most about my craft is that I am creating a memory or legacy for my family. I can’t pick just one favorite technique, although the one I use most is inking. I love the way it adds depth and dimension to a page.

 If I was stranded on a remote island I wouldn’t be able to live without: Wow…that’s a hard question….I would have to take cardstock, scissors, ink (of course) and adhesive.
