The love and dedication almost radiates from Chelsea's art work. Everything has a delicate femininity to it. With stitching, ribbons, buttons and more the little details she adds to every project add the perfect subtle touch. She has the gift of scrapbooking with a style that is both sweet and natural looking. It's as if her layouts are hugs for the subjects in her photos."

I am 22 years old and live in Portland, Oregon. I have the most wonderful supporting husband who I met when I was just 15. We have a beautiful 15 month old daughter together.  I have been home with our daughter since the day she was born. I am so happy to be a stay at home mom and feel so fortunate. I truly count my blessings daily. I love photography and scrapbooking gives me the opportunity to display my pictures in a very creative and unique way.

I have been scrapbooking for 7 years, but over the past year I have really found my own style. My style is clean and definitely focuses primarily on my photographs. I use embellishments and colors that will emphasize the picture(s) I use on my projects. I start with the picture that I want to use and work outwardly on the layout from there. For me, all the colors have to coordinate with the picture.

 If I was stranded on a remote island, the supplies I couldn’t live without include: my camera. I don’t go anywhere without it!  I would also need to have my sewing machine. I would have to say that if I had my camera, sewing machine and great quality paper, I would be set. I of course love all the other fun embellishments, but those three things are a must to me.

I love the fact that scrapbooking allows me to display my pictures in a creative way. Scrapbooking gives me the opportunity to journal memories that I wouldn’t normally get to. Knowing that my daughter will look back on these albums and projects one day makes it all the more worth it.
